Summer reading is now required for Lanier.  As a rising 8th grader, you will be responsible for reading two books over the summer.  Click on the link below to access the information and the list.

The I-Search information that was on the screen in the media center is now posted on the Projects page.  Also, the UGA website information showing the example of “Jo-Jo’s” project is on the word document entitled I-Search websites.

November Novel Response

Novel response for periods 2, 3, and 5 is due Tuesday, November 29.  Seventh period is due Wednesday, November 30.

I hope you’re enjoying Chinese Cinderella!  Don’t forget you have to turn in your questions before Thanksgiving.  I hope novel responses are going well. I plan to be back on Monday, November 28! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!!

October Novel Response

2nd, 3rd, and 5th periods are due Tuesday, October 18.   7th period is due Tuesday, October 11.  We’ll discuss the format in class next week.  Keep completing your reading logs as you read!

Novel Response Due

Periods 2,4, and 5 have a novel response due September 20 (Tuesday).  Seventh period is dues September 13 (Tuesday).  Don’t be late!!!!!

Tagxedo

Hope you all had fun with Tagxedo in the lab.  The link is posted now.  If you have difficulty accessing the site from the URL bar, use the search window and enter the name only.  Also, it’s possible to save your Tagxedo as a JPG file in the Tagxedo site before you upload to your web site.
